The Governess
in Lessons Learnt
The Governess has blown in from the 19th century to educate her charges (the audience).
However, time travel and a significantly altered global landscape have left her confused, uncertain and a little askew. But she perseveres and against a backdrop of inclement weather delivers a series of bizarre “lessons” culminating in the ultimate lesson learnt: that when all feels lost, hope can be just around the corner.
Unusual, funny and maybe even instructive, Lessons Learnt is written and performed by Anne-Louise Rentell.
